Engage:

allow students the opportunity to create an ideal student workspace in their classroom

Explore:

SWBAT to collaborate and brainstorm in groups to research building materials, options available, ergonomic considerations, cost, feasibility, safety for their workspace

Elaborate:

build a prototype or small scale model of workspace, or sketch scale model 

Explain:

SWBAT present ideal workspace project to classmates, identifying use and practicality of each component and how their project can serve a variety of curricula uses, and improve daily learning

Evaluate:

using the following criteria form a rubric 

Does project meet community need?


Does project demonstrate collaboration between students?


Is project achievable at low or no cost?


Can group justify design choices for their project?
