I might be a bit biased on this game. My son played it many years ago, and I didn't see any educational value to it from a math perspective. Aside from shapes that quickly come and go on the screen, the game has little to do with understanding geometric concepts. Unlike Angry Birds, the jumping aspect has a very similar trajectory throughout.

There may be some value in kids attempting to replicate the game using a platform like Scratch. It does use some of the coding blocks that are typical of side-scrolling video game programming (e.g., if this object touches another object, then...). The game is simple in concept, so programming a similar game does have some coding possibilities.
