Work Time Options

Opening

Look over the Work Time options for this lesson.

  • Option 1 : If you have a clear sense of the revisions you need to make to your written chapter and all you need is time, you may spend the Work Time writing independently.
  • Option 2 : If you and your partner feel that you need a little more input and support from each other to complete your peer edit, you may confer briefly before working on your revision and you may check in about revisions-in-progress.
  • Option 3 : If you are finished or almost finished with your revision, you may begin work on the extension options to enhance your chapter.
  • Choose whichever option best fits your needs. Share your decision with your teacher.

Homework

Keep working on your self-portrait.

  • Continue collecting artifacts for the various chapters of your self-portrait, checking off items on your Self-Portrait Checklist as you go.
  • Log your progress in your Planning Calendar.
  • Work on extension options if necessary. If you chose to include an extension option in your written chapter, add work plans for it in your Planning Calendar.
