About the Course
Common Core 3.0 (and 2.5) requires new social workers to engage in a specific set of field based activities that will enhance their learning of the in-class sessions. Each new social worker will be assigned a Field Advisor (most likely his or her supervisor) to work through these activities. All Field Advisors, must attend a two-day Coaching Institute and this one-day class on the field based activities.
All supervisors or other staff who
is assuming the role of the field advisor for social workers in Core 3.0 (or
2.5) must attend this one-day class and the two-day Coaching Institute. It is
preferred that the coaching institute is taken prior to this class. Additionally, a brief eLearning module is required to be completed prior to attending this class.
