The OERizona Network is a professional learning community committed to providing learners across Arizona and beyond, unimpeded, and equitable access to high-quality learning materials through the promotion of open educational practices. The Hub functions are a shared repository for Arizona educators to share and access resources and is funded by the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE) through the U.S. Department of Education.

Welcome to the OERizona Network’s Hub

Are you ready to become a member of the OERizona Network’s hub? Join the OER Best Practices Group to access various resources and tools. Once a member of the hub, update your profile as an OERizona Network educator and start saving and curating resources under the "My Items" menu.

Are you ready to collaborate with other OERizona Network  educators and contribute material to OER Commons that are searchable within the OERizona Network’s hub? Request to join one of the OERizona Network’s Groups in your area of expertise to get started. Click on a group to view their published resources and discussion board to see if this group is the right fit for you.

Get started using our OER authoring tool, Open Author. Submit Resources

Click the Submit a resource button on the Contribute page.

Submit open educational resources to OER Commons if you control the copyright or licensing, and if the materials are hosted online. OER Commons will create a record of the resources and make it discoverable to other users.

Import OER from Google Docs

Open Author offers the option to create and share resources by importing from Google Docs. We recommend using the Google Doc Import feature rather than adding a URL link to your Google Doc within an Open Author resource for a few different reasons: 

  • This feature makes it easy for educators to share resources they've built in Google Docs in a remixable format, with the added value of Open Author's powerful version tracking.
  • You needn't worry about the permissions associated with your Google Doc
  • You are on your way to becoming an OER Super Star by contributing your truly shareable and remixable resource!
