Lessons from the Field: Assessing and Improving CQI Systems in Child Welfare

The Winter/Spring 2014 issue of Child Welfare Matters, the newsletter of the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement (NRCOI), focuses on Lessons from the Field: Assessing and Improving CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) Systems in Child Welfare. The issue profiles a CQI assessment approach that NRCOI designed and implemented in partnership with State agencies. It describes the assessment process, highlights common findings and ideas, and invites agencies to adapt the process as they develop their own comprehensive CQI systems. The issue also lists useful resources from NRCOI and other organizations.
