A9: Supporting Youth Engagement in Meetings: Why, How and What You Can Do About It

This interactive workshop explores youth adult partnership as a model for engaging youth, how to prepare and support youth for participation in meetings, and techniques for facilitating meetings which involve youth. Presenters will share a tool designed in partnership between youth and adults titled, “Youth Engagement: Recommended Meeting Guidelines.” Participants will leave the workshop with realistic, tangible ideas for actions attendees themselves can take to develop quality youth engagement in their organizations.
