Electoral College

In this project, students will explore the electoral college and form an opinion of whether they think it is a valid way to elect the president. First, we will engage in a small simulation of voting to show how the electoral college works. After that, students will research the history of the electoral college, how it works, and results of it in past elections. After their research, they will form an opinion on whether they think it is valid, then write a group paper followed by a class debate in attempt to convince everyone of their opinions.
