Story Behind Every New Zealand YOUth offers a free unique virtual peer mentoring programme to New Zealand youth. The programme consists of more than 30 interviews of New Zealand’s peer mentoring that share their real life experiences. All the interviews have their own unique story and themes and empower our youth to overcome obstacles, discover their true selves and make a difference.

Our mission is to share real life stories to empower New Zealand youth overcome obstacles, discover their true selves and make a difference. Our vision is An environment in which youth can live their dreams and become the best they can be.



RESOURCES FOR YOUTH

Specifically for students, we developed a very exciting and usefull Udemy course that uses New Zealand’s peer mentors to share their real life stories, helping our youth to overcome obstacles, enable them to discover their true selves and make a difference in life. The programme that is offered in theUdemy course consists of over 30 interviews with New Zealand’s peer mentors that share their real life experiences. Because all interviews have their own unique stories and themes, the interviews can be used to discuss many different aspects of life. In order to do so, this Udemy course is divided into different topics and assignments and can be accessed together or as an individual assignment.

RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS, EDUCATORS AND YOUTH WORKERS

As you might know,ITunes U is a great new way to provide a rich free learning experience, using just the IPad, IPod or IPhone. For New Zealand’s teachers, educators and youth workers we developed a great ITunes U course that uses New Zealand’s peer mentors to share real life stories and empowers New Zealand’s youth to overcome obstacles, enable them to discover their true selves and make a difference in life.

The programme consists of over 30 interviews with New Zealand’s peer mentors that share their real life experiences. The materials available on these resources were collected during a research project that was funded by the Todd Foundation about the structure that creates life-changing impact. The themes that our peer role models speak of are: identity, enablement, education experience and the balance of personal development and social life.
