- Give students roughly half of the class period to read and answer the questions
- After students have had time to finish the close read, use the remainder of the period to discuss their answers. Additionally, field any questions about any amendments not specifically questioned about.
Day 2
- Have students divide into groups (or divide them prior to class) of 3 or 4 and pool their examples on each amendment, and choose the best idea from the pool.
- Explain that they will now need to choose 3 of their examples to videotape as a Public Service Announcement (PSA).
- It is then up to the instructor as to the amount of time to give groups to finish their project. Suggested time would be anywhere from half a class period to a weekend for video projects.
