Angle Relationships

Title: Angle Relationships

Grade Level: Sixth Grade

Subject: Math

Duration: 1 hour - 1 hour 15 min

DOK Level: Level One

SAMR Level: Substitution

Indiana Standard: 6.GM.2: Know that the sum of the interior angles of any triangle is 180º and that the sum of the interior angles of any quadrilateral is 360º. Use this information to solve real-world and mathematical problems.

Objective: Learn and review the rules and procedures of angle relationships

Procedure:

  • Watch the video to help you take notes on angle relationships. You need to take notes and make sure you can identify the four main types of angles, and the following vocab terms:
  • Complementary Angles
  • Supplementary Angles
  • Adjacent Angles
  • Vertical Angles
  • Vertex

  • In this video copy down the practice problems and solve them as you move along. You may need to pause the video at times to copy down the problem and try to solve it yourself. There are 8 practice problems on the video so I should see 8 problems in your notes. Also, the problems should be solved exactly like the video solves it.
