Anticipating Problems

I carefully analyze complex processes to decide where problems might occur in order to avoid them.

I think about the process I am going to be working with to figure out if problems might occur.

With help, I try to predict what problems might occur.

I usually do not notice problems until they occur.

Monitoring Processes

I use logical thinking and observation to identify problems quickly, and I think about the processes I use in several different ways in order to solve problems.

I pay attention to what is going on so I can identify and solve problems quickly.

If someone reminds me, I think about the processes I use and how to solve problems.

I rarely think about how I to solve problems while I am working on a project.

Choosing Solutions

I make sure I thoroughly understand a problem before I predict the consequences of several possible solutions so that I can choose the best solution.

I spend time carefully describing a problem and then I evaluate more than one solution so I can choose the best solution.

I spend a little bit of time thinking about a problem, but unless I am reminded, I start to solve it before I evaluate all possible solutions.

I usually start trying to solve a problem as soon as I notice it, and I use the first solution I think of without trying to come up with any better solutions.
