Objective:

1. Students will be able to find the least common denominator of a set of numbers.

2. Students will be able to subtract mixed numbers where borrowing from the whole number (or as some teachers call it, regrouping) is required.

Procedure: The teacher will deliver the Google document titled LCD & Subtracting Mixed Numbers with Borrowing Review to students. Students will...

  1. Watch 3 “Finding least common denominators” videos. In their spiral notebooks, they will write down at least one problem from each video.
  2. Watch 2 “Subtracting mixed numbers with borrowing videos. In their spiral notebooks, they will write down at least one problem from each video.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes on the IXL standards listed. Show work.
