Assignment: Picture Your Stress

Instructions: For this assignment you will be using your artistic skills to help create a visual to represent what stress is to you and how you manage your stress. Before you start, think about what different things cause you stress and how you deal with the stress. After you have identified these stressors, think about how you can visually show these stressors and stress management. 

You can create your visual by hand-drawing, creating a collage and taking a picture, or even photographing your representation.  Other options could include using one of the following programs to create your piece of art. 

  • Google Draw
  • Google Slides
  • Voicethread
  • Easly
  • Piktochart
  • Collages (PicMonkey, befunky)

Or some other tech tool that you can find!

If you created something tangible that is not currently on the computer, you will need to take a digital photo of it. You can use a digital camera that you already have, or you can go to THIS website.  Click on the "snap" tab, and make sure you allow the website to access your webcam if it asks you.  Hold your artwork so that the webcam can take a photo of it, then press the picture of the camera button in the bottom right.  Once the picture is taken of your drawn picture, press the "Download a JPG file" button.  This will save the jpg file to your computer.
