Building Blocks for Composting with Kids

This is a collection of resources for anyone who wants to start a compost system. The original project was designed for an elementary school, but the parts can be adapted for any level. 

Here's some background information on the original project and instructions for building a compost bin. There are many different types of bins, so this is just an example of one that is sturdy and easy to build.  

We made a booklet that covers the basics of composting and can be understood by young children. Here it is in English, Braille, and Spanish.
