Description
Head and Face parts
The teacher will model the vocabulary in reading, writing, listening , and speaking. Helping students to learn by repeating the words. Students will be working together in pairs asking each other. Students will learn a new song and proverb.
Instructional Goals Aligned to National Foreign Language Learning Standards
Students will identify the names of head and face parts in Arabic.
Students will work in pairs through listening and speaking activity.
Students will produce by drawing face features and label them in Arabic.
Students will learn Arabic Proverb: العين بتاكل قبل الفم
Students will watch a video with the song and try to recognize the words they hear.
Students will go home and teach one person in their family the new vocab.
Prerequisite Knowledge and Skills
Students know how to read Arabic words.
Can Do Statements
Teacher can model the vocabulary, in writing and pronunciation.
Students can read the words, say them, write them, understand them.
Teacher and students can get constructive feedback from each other.
