To say "+" or "addition" in German we use the word "plus" (ploos).  To say "-" or "subtract" in German we use the word "minus" (meenus). To say "=" or "equals" in German we use the word "ist." Now that you know your numbers 1-10 in German, you can complete some simple math flashcards to practice addition, subtraction, and your numbers in German. For example to say the problem 10-1=9, you would say "zehn minus eins ist neun."

Read and answer the five problems below in German using your German numbers and the words for "+, -, and =." Record yourself reading the five problems and post the recording.  It can be just audio or video.
