Pixlr Editing Tutorial - Creating a Postcard
In this tutorial students will use some simple tools to create a border and add a drop shadow to create a postcard effect using the free browser-based image-editing program pixlr. Students will use an image of their choice for the actual postcard, and then pick a background image that fits with that postcard image.

The postcard that the student creates in Pixlr must meet the following requirements, which are demonstrated in this video:
- Postcard must have a background layer (see rocky background below)
- Postcard has a border (see white border below), made using an inner or outer glow from the layer styles
- Postcard has been tilted using the "free transform" tool (see tilted postcard below)
- Text has been added (see "wish you were here" below) - the text should be rotated in the same way that the postcard has been rotated
- At least 1 fun and cool effect (see drop shadow, and color adjustments below)
