ED-LLC 101: ACADEMIC READING BADGE

ACADEMIC READING BADGE

Article Annotation Assignment

In ED-LLC 101, we define a TEXT as…

Any object that can be ‘read’. Objects may include (but are not limited to) works of literature, songs, video clips, street signs, arrangements of buildings on a city block, or styles of clothing. The object being read should consist of a coherent set of symbolic language that transmits some kind of message.  The focus is on the symbols’ informative message or ‘content’, rather than its physical form or the medium in which it is represented (e.g., lyrics, image, article, etc.).
