Introduction to the interior design career field (definition) and basic vocabulary to support the definition.

Anticipatory Set/Pre-Activity:
Gallery walk of interior design projects: set out past State and NLC projects, projects from Interior Design students and teacher projects currently being worked on. Have students look at projects and make a list of 5-10 key words/ideas they gather from the projects. Set the lists aside to go over at the end of the vocab presentation. Discuss lists at needed.

PRESENTATION/NOTES:
Present the Interior Design: The Basics (Vocab) presentation. To take notes: Students should fold a regular piece of graph paper in half long wise and half short wise. Instruct students to list the vocab word somewhere in the block to define the word and then finally to draw a representation of the word.
Closure: Kahoot review for quiz next class period. Encourage students to study their notes.
