This lesson uses the nursery rhyme, Five Little Monkeys, to teach or supplement the teaching of blending syllables in kindergarten. The lesson includes online and offline resources and extensions.It is expected that this Remote Learning Plan will take students 15 minutes to complete. This Remote Learning Plan addresses the following NDE Standard: NE LA 0.1.2.d Identify, blend and segment syllable sounds in spoken words (e.g., cupcake, birthday).
