This Remote Learning Plan was created by Lonnie Lierman in collaboration with Lori Broady and Andrew Easton as part of the 2020 ESU-NDE Remote Learning Plan Project. Educators worked with coaches to create Remote Learning Plans as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.The attached Remote Learning Plan is designed for 9-12 world history/social studies students. Students will create a Google Slide presentation on the Storming of the Bastille and reveal the role that the sans-culottes played in the early years of the French Revolution. Description:  Students will learn about the Indian Ocean Trade Network and its impacts on Eurasia, economically, socially, and politically. This Remote Learning Plan was created by Sara Fjell in collaboration with Lori Broady as part of the 2020 ESU-NDE Remote Learning Plan Project. Educators worked with coaches to create Remote Learning Plans as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.The attached Remote Learning Plan is designed for 9th-12th Grade World History students. Students will learn about the Indian Ocean Trade Network and its impacts on Eurasia, economically, socially, and politically.  This Remote Learning Plan addresses the following NDE Standard: SS HS.3.1.b Analyze and explain changes in spatial patterns as a result of the interactions among human and physical processes. SS HS.3.2.a Analyze physical and human processes that shape places and regions. Self-Assessment:I can analyse both the positive and negative impacts of the Indian Ocean trade network and give multiple examples of the ideas, items, and technologies that would be exchanged because of this new connection between regions.
