In this unit, students will reflect on who is important to them (biological family, or family of choice, friends, pets, mentors) and explain why. They will explain what their reciprocal roles and relationships are and describe activities and celebrations that bring them together. Students will compare celebrations of and with family from around the Spanish-speaking world.
