Where is Fibonacci?

Students will demonstrate an understanding (loose or tight depending on your expectations) of the Fibonacci sequence and how it related to our world.

There have been years when I have required all students to create a Fibonacci spiral, but most recently, I have encouraged kids to find a way to display their understanding of the Fibonacci sequence in a way that is inspiring to them.  

I certainly offer ideas for students who are inspired in that way, while others embrace the "blank slate" of the project.

I try to make it as clear as possible that any suggestions or examples I provide are just that and should not limit their creativity.
