Nebraska History Art Lesson

Introduce/play the video of Nebraska facts for students to take notes from. After the video, the teacher will discuss some facts and make students aware of the vocabulary words. Students will then start with two separate sheets of paper (one with an outline of Nebraska, one blank) and either crayons or colored pencils. They will fill in/draw images using a minimum of three colors in the outline to reflect the facts they just learned. Once the state is filled, students will be instructed to cut it out and paste onto the other sheet of paper where they will right down five facts and at least three vocabulary words. Once finished, their projects will be turned in and graded for a completion grade.
