My name is Sarah Bates and I am currently an occupational therapy student at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire.  I grew up in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and have a mother who is also an occupational therapist.  I knew that I wanted to follow in her footsteps and devote my life to helping others lead their most fulfilling, independent lives as possible.  I love children and could definitely see myself practicing as a pediatric OT one day.
