Tempe Christian School has been ministering to Arizona school children in the Phoenix and East Valley areas since 1971. In 2005 the grade school was discontinued and our early learning center for Infants through Pre-Kindergarten, expanded on this campus.

In November of 2007 both the School and Church boards gave their approval for Tempe Christian School (TCS) to change their name to Tempe Christian Preschool (TCPS).

The original mascot for the school when it began in 1971 was an Eagle, so keeping with tradition, Tempe Christian Preschool chose to go with the Eaglets.

We continue to be a strong ministry within Tempe Nazarene Church striving to help build a sense of community among our school families

Infant Department

Home of the infant department's mentor teachers at Tempe Christian Preschool.

It is our goal as mentor teachers to guide our coworkers to excellence by asking questions and researching new ideas to possibly implement within our department to create a more cohesive bond between each infant classroom.

General iPad use

Chandler Fashion Centers’ Apple Store offers free workshops onsite ranging from the basics of an iphone to a music lab or even a photography class.

For some people these FREE classes may be helpful to learn some of their own technologies. As I heard my boss reply once when I brought this idea up at work, she had taken a class on the Apple watch after she had gotten it and come to find out it had proven to be a useful experience to her.

Preschool2me App

Preschool2me states that they, "engage parents and childcare providers through simple, secure and beautiful daily reports, pictures and messages." They also have written below their logo, "paper out. technology in."

However, it is not always easy for everyone to learn technology as fast as it is updated. Which is why I compiled the following presentation for teacher's use of the Preschool2me App.

Preschool2me Lesson Planning

Some child care centers will provide a monthly theme to use for reference and cohesion across all classrooms lesson plans and activities. 

Click here, this presentation will help new staff and teachers learn to navigate and build their lesson plan using the worksheet tool given and made for us by our directors, as they have stated, "instead of buying a canned curriculum." For instance, at one of my daycares we bought Mother Goose monthly activities and themes, so planning my lesson plan was super easy and pretty much already completed for me, materials included.
