The purpose of this module is to provide effective strategies for teaching children    with ADHD.  This module is designed for teachers for children 1-8 though can also be modified for K-12 grades as well.  Statistically speaking, 20% of children experience a mental health need and ADHD is becoming more prevalent, likely because of increased awareness.  









By the end of this module, teachers will learn: 

1.  What ADHD is and how to recognize some of the signs and gifts

2.  How to employ effective classroom strategies that promote inclusion for all students

3.  How to engage students with ADHD in the classroom setting

4.  How to decide which strategies to use in the classroom to support effective learning for all students

5.  How to find resources
