Introduc

Day 1: Have students fill out the questionnaire with a partner.  Students then exchange papers at the end of the class so that they take home the one with their responses.

Day 2: Teach/Review editing skills and have students edit their work and you spot check it.  We use MARK* in my classroom and it helps students with their editing.  For my ELL Writing 1 students we alter MARK and just do ARK right now.

Day 3: Have students open up Google Docs and type up their edited responses. It should form an informative paragraph.

Day 4: Run through the Photo Booth with students and teach them how to copy and paste their pictures into their google document. Finally have students print.

Depending on the length of class and student levels, these activities may take longer or shorter.  Plan accordingly.

*MARK is an editing strategy and a process that students use to correct and fix mistakes.  Here is a link to their strategies.  http://sim.kucrl.org/strategies
