Excel Advanced Capstone Lesson - Feed Calculator
This lesson covers a wide variety of the skills to date for Microsoft Excel, including some new ones, creating user interface menus and slider bars. Together we will create a working Feed Calculator for chickens, allowing you to create mixtures to maximize caloric intake and nutrition while minimizing costs for any number of birds of any age.
This assignment has three parts; a spreadsheet, video, and the PowerPoint used in the video. Please download all parts, though you can skip the PowerPoint if the video was sufficient in the assignment.

Working File
We begin with a spreadsheet, which you can download from here. Ensure you download it to somewhere you can find, preferably Using Save As for Microsoft iExplorer/Edge.
This worksheet has been saved for Microsoft Excel 2010 on, and will work in both Mac and PC versions.
Next, download the PowerPoint presentation below, this is the same one illustrated in the video, and is provided for those who prefer a more static pace, or written instructions.
The screen images in this file are from Excel 2010, but will work with little adaption for later versions. Some keystroke substitutions for Mac users will be required for CTRL and ALT keys.
