Learning objectives

Overall course objectives

  • It aims to introduce students to solve radio communications problems related to: wireless broadband networks , satellite communication environments and Wireless LAN systems. For this reason, this semester we analyze the basic characteristics and principles of: the various broadband networks such as LMDS, MMDS, FWA, satellite communications and GEO orbits, LEO and ICO and Wireless LAN systems such as HIPERLAN/2, IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth.

Overall theoretical objectives

  • Study and characterization of wireless broadband networks , satellite communications environments and systems Wireless MAN , LAN and PAN.

Overall laboratory objectives

  • Practices seek to show students the practical application of concepts studied in class through practical laboratory , computer simulations and visits to industries.
