Introduction to Theatre
The Director – guides the production team and the actors in the delivery of the message of the script, designs the blocking of the show. The director decides the following things:
Blocking
1. how they get on stage, 2. how to keep them facing the audience, 3. how to get the audience to see their morals, 4. interact with the scene, 5. how to overcome obstacles, 6. how to make choices, analyze the script, 7.casting the show
Staging Options

Staging is defined by the relationship between the seating and the stage.
Script Options (either script choice or applied style choice differing from script intent)
