INVESTING, FINANCING AND SPECULATION• Investing and financing are two important concepts in finance that are often used interchangeably but have distinct differences. Investing is the act of deploying funds in order to enhance one's wealth over time. This can be achieved through real investments, such as in tangible assets such as land and machinery, or through financial investments, such as stocks and bonds.
