Students will play a game called "Colorful Vocabulary". Students will practice describing people, places, and items using a game. This will teach students how to describe multiple topics using different vocabulary words.
This is the final module in the ESL course. Students discuss what is fun and healthy fun, and share different ways they have fun. Hobbies are explored. The module generates extensive vocabulary and students role-play to bring the words to life. Fun is brought into the class through games and activities. The discussions and assignments give students opportunities to speak, exchange and share ideas, and with writing and listening skills.
Students will review food vocabulary through a matching game. Students will also practice formulating sentences using a variety of verbs.
Students will review vocabulary words relating to food, using a game of Heads Up. Then, they will practice using those words with a card game that requires them to match words with the picture.

This lab will allow ASL students to interact with each other and learn more about one another through a fun game.
This lab will practice different skills learned throughout the semester through the use of a board game. The game is focused on Deaf culture, describing physical appearance, and the five parameters of signs. The students will play the game together and work on their communication skills throughout by answering and engaging with the game cards.
In this activity, students will practice vocabulary by asking "yes" and "no" questions to figure out a secret word. If they figure out the secret word before time is up, they win!

Students will learn about navigating and paying for the train system in Japan. They will then practice their travel vocab with a game that pushes their vocab and requires them to talk about that vocab creatively.
In this lab, students will review the vocabulary and phrases they learned by playing a jeopardy. They will learn how to apply what they learned into real life situations.
