Our mission is to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards while protecting our planet's most precious pollinators. The resources we have provided are designed to engage students through observation-based and hands-on learning with a little help from our tiny friends -- the bees! This unit of study has ample resources including teacher guides, video links, material lists, background information, standards mapping, and engaging work for students.

6 Week Bee Unit Including Teacher's Guide

We are taking a cue from the honey bee and adapting to new environments. Whether you are teaching an online class, part-time school, or full-time face to face learning, The Bee Cause Project is here to meet you where you are with plug and play pollinator lesson plans. The 6 Week Bee Unit can be completed in sequence, or as individual lesson plans. Each of our resources has Teacher Guides, are mapped to the Standards, and are easily adapted to digital platform. This document includes pre and post assessment tools as well as the Bee Glossary + Flash Cards. The Literature Circle Teacher's Guide + Reading Roles is a one-stop-shop for launching your leveled reading groups. In this guide, we explain what Literature Circle is, how to get started, and provide printable reading roles for your students.

    Pollinator Friendly Reading List

The Bee-Friendly Reading List compiles classroom favorites, personal bookshelves must-haves, and beekeeper recommendations. This Reading List is updated often, and every entry will include the suggested grade level, Lexile level, guided reading level, genre, and Read Aloud Link if available.
