Child and Family Team Forum
Teaming with Families: Parents and children may have many questions and concerns after hearing other parents' and families' stories of hope and inspiration from the Child and Family Team experience. Providers and agency staff understand that a dedicated team is one of the key avenues public child welfare and juvenile probation use to promote the family’s needs and maximize the success of children, youth and families. This short video was created by family members for family members to answer questions and welcome children, youth and families into their individual CFT process. During this video, two past parents and a youth who received services share insights and strategies their professional team members used to successful partner and achieve their goals of reunification, giving insight into the process and illustrating ways that services were created with their unique needs in mind.
