Blended Learning Teacher Practice Network

Ohio, United States

About me

The Blended Learning Teacher Practice Network is a collaborative of six school districts across the state of Ohio that engaged middle school educators in professional learning around blended learning and problem-based learning to create 50 unique middle school modules that can be used by educators across the country. Participating districts include:
Forest Hills School District
Mentor School District
Northwestern School District
Plain Local School District
Worthington City School District
Schools in Lawrence County, Ohio

Each district authored at least eight modules, each with a primary content area as well as secondary content areas that allows each module to be taught using an interdisciplinary approach. Each module, after it was written, was reviewed and evaluated by experts at The Ohio State University. These modules were then revised based on feedback from experts, piloted in at least three different classrooms across the state, revised again, and then submitted to The Ohio State University for a final review.
