About me

I am a novice teacher in an urban high school that emphasizes the intersections of the arts and sciences. Having a history in creative disobedience and community education, I hope to leverage the maximum amount of open and community-developed curriculum, software, and projects to contribute to the school community's mission. I received my BA in biology from CSUN, but my personal interests up to this point have provided me with skills relating to cyber security, event planning, group facilitation, and DIY publication. It is my hope that through a digital community of educators we can provide tools, strategies, activities and lessons that uplift, empower, and motivate students to use their 21st century skills for community projects.
