About me

I'm the Education Librarian at Texas A&M University-San Antonio and have been the "de facto" coordinator for OER efforts sponsored by the University Library. The Library is the main entity at my institution that is working to promote awareness, adoption, and creation of OER for our university students. In working with all the undergraduate and graduate level education degree programs, I have also identified limited awareness of OER among faculty and students in those programs. I see the promise of OER as a tool for equity in both K-12 and higher education and hope to be a facilitator of attitude and understanding changes that allow for its widespread use.
