About me

I am *Dr.V.Vijaya* working as *Assistant Professor of Botany*, in E.M.G. Yadava Women's College, having eight years of teaching experience. Apart from subjects handling in botany expertise in Horticulture, Herbal gardening, Adapting plant in the net house. Area of research - are studying the beneficial aspects of Exclusion of Solar UV-B rays in higher plants, Algology, phycobilin pigment synthesis under different environmental conditions, synthesis of nanoparticles from the herbal plant. Accruing knowledge by attending Faculty Development Programme, Hands-on training to inculcate the emerging trends in ICT enabled learning, handle Moodle Classroom, Swayam MOOCs courses as Open Educational Recourse by Dr.(Mrs.)P.Malliga (National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai.). Helpful in using and developing the creative commons licenced resources for educational purpose
