About me
Kelleen is a German Teacher at LPS for Middle and High School, and co-teaches the World Language Foundations Tenure course for new teachers in the LPS District with Katelyn Sims and Janine Theiler. Kelleen has collaborated with Nebraska Department of Education on creating and vetting materials for the Nebraska OER Hub 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Kelleen works with Nebraska International Language Association as Communications Chair 2023 and is the current Secretary/Treasurer of Nebraska Association of Teachers of German.
Kelleen graduated from University of Nebraska_Lincoln in 2014, and completed her Master in Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education with an emphasis in German and Second Language Acquisition. She served as a Fulbright ETA in Geilenkirchen, Germany for the 2014-2015 School year.
Kelleen regularly presents at local and regional conferences. Presentations include:
