About me
For over twenty years, Haley has supported non-traditional students and faculty in higher education. She leverages over 15 years of leadership experience to drive institutional success through roles focused on engaging faculty in developmental opportunities, ensuring students' needs are met, and achieving academic rigor.
Since 2012, she has been committed to creating an exceptional classroom experience at the University of Arizona Global Campus, where she leads a Faculty Support and Classroom Consultants team in providing guidance, formative feedback, and encouraging reflection on teaching practices to 2,000 faculty annually. Haley's passion for building learning communities is aligned with her role as Co-Chair of The University of Arizona Global Campus Teaching and Learning Conference, now celebrating its 10th year, welcoming over 800 attendees and 90 presentations yearly from over 30 higher education institutions. She manages The UAGC Chronicle, a quarterly faculty-driven publication that highlights efforts dedicated to achieving institutional initiatives, academic research, and best practices in teaching and learning.
With degrees in business administration and higher education leadership, Haley has served as a faculty member in the on-ground classroom format, teaching goal-setting and career management courses. Exemplified by her teaching focus, Haley researches the role of self-reflection and belonging in the learning community, with an eye for how reflection and improving an individual's sense of belonging can support cultural change and positive developments in the classroom.
