About me
My overarching interest is the school library as an educational reform for 21st century education. I am particularly interested in developing the role of the school librarian as a leader, a teacher-of-teachers, and a learning specialist. The potential of school libraries to deliver programming and services that develop critical thinking, information literacy, reading proficiencies, and technological competencies to all children has yet to be realized. I am convinced that school libraries are indispensable for the education of youth as proficient and discerning consumers of information and responsible and competent users of technology.
