Part A

Brainstorm on your own.  Use your notebook to list, make thumbnail sketches of several ideas for a design for the new bench.  Document all of your ideas whether you think they are "good" ideas or not.

Part B

Gather with your group and share all of your ideas.  Remember that in this step there is NO judgement allowed.  Share all ideas whether you feel they are "good" ideas or not.  Your group need many ideas in this step before you can move on to the next step.
