Part A

In this step your team should use a DECISION MATRIX to compare all of your ideas.  The DECISION MATRIX will help you choose your team's BEST solution to this problem.  

Part B

After your team uses the DECISION MATRIX to choose your best design, your team needs to make detailed sketches of your bench. Your team should use 3D modeling software such as Geogebra or SketchUp.   Include the dimensions for the real-life bench as well as the dimensions of the prototype.  Be sure that the measurements for the actual bench and prototype are proportional.  These sketches and measurements need to be neat and accurate. You need to include which Geometry Theorems, Postulates or Definitions support your teams' idea that the bench will now be a stable seating area and consider comparing your design to  Your plans also need to include the exact itemized list of all of the materials your team will purchase and a grand total of the cost of building the new bench for the team.
