This is a simple and brief overview of a bandsaw, and the basic controls of the bandsaw for operation.
The materials in this OER are grouped thematically, under four headings: Introduction to Welding, Structural Work, Career Development and Digital Literacy. All topics maintain the welding theme and spiral vocabulary students will hear and use in the welding shop.
Basic skill development in hand-forging steel, forge welding, scroll-forming, shaping, and joinery utilizing hammers, anvils, and coal and gas forges. Emphasis on techniques and processes to demonstrate versatility and skill.
