                        Documentary - “I Am Not Your Negro” (2017)

●       Why do you think this grabber is beneficial and how it  aligns with your driving question?

                        “I Am Not Your Negro” is a successful, engaging documentary that talks about Jim Crow laws and evaluates the history of racism and black oppression in America. This ties neatly into our driving question because it covers the exact laws that were the result of federal expansion, and will make room for debate in the class. It’s rated PG-13, which sits below the age level of the kids who would be seeing it!
