This text is broken into five modules: Universals, Instruments, Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, and Texture, and Form. The text offers basic information on the aforementioned concepts. Supplemental materials (i.e. music examples) will be needed.

A collection of free and open primary texts in digital formats for the study of early world literature in English translation. Multiple English translations are provided for comparison and study, as well as open secondary and supplemental resources.

Included are open-source reading materials, learning objectives, suggested readings and resources, and activities organized into content modules for undergraduate Foundations of Education courses. This collection of worksheets, homework assignments, and study skills exercises was created through a Round 14 Textbook Transformation Grant. The worksheets supplement the following topics as covered in OpenStax Precalculus: Functions, domain and range, rates of change, inverse functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, exponential growth modeling, angles, sine and cosine, right triangles, sum identities, and difference identities. Study skills exercises include growth mindset and metacognition activities.

This set of study guides and homework materials was created for Principles of Physics I under a Round Six ALG Textbook Transformation Grant.

The purpose of this project was to create a set of ancillary materials for the open textbook Research Methods in Psychology, a textbook intended to be used for psychology research methods courses. At the start of this grant, the textbook was available through the University of Minnesota’s Open Textbook Library (open.lib.umn.edu/psychologyresearchmethods/) and could be found in most open material repositories. Since this grant was proposed, however, a more recent version of the text has been released by Price, Jhangiani, Chiang, Leighton, and Cuttler (https://opentext.wsu.edu/carriecuttler/). The resources developed for this grant can be used for the new edition of the text, although they were written for the earlier version.

This online book is designed to help students learn the skills they will need to do well in college-level classes. Some courses will focus on writing, some on reading, and some on a combination of the two; this book is designed to work with all of those classes.

Welcome, students, and remember: a skill is not a magical ability. By that, we mean it can be learned; you don't have to be born "good at" reading or writing. Like any other skill, reading and writing abilities improve through learning the step-by-step process to doing both, and through practice. We hope this book will help you develop your own skills.

Understanding Music: Past and Present is an open Music Appreciation textbook co-authored by music faculty across Georgia. The text covers the fundamentals of music and the physics of sound, an exploration of music from the Middle Ages to the present day, and a final chapter on popular music in the United States.
