MOOCs and Open Educational Resources: A Handbook for Educators is being made available for university faculty, educators, and educational producers involved in producing online courses. The guide is a step-by-step manual to how to produce and distribute educational video content under the freest of licenses, with an emphasis on Creative Commons. It is hoped that some utility may be found in its pages by all kinds of readers, whether one is a staff videographer or a chaired senior faculty member or a freelance video editor, or in any position around and in between.

Après un premier Plan Stratégique Numerique, décliné de 2015 à 2020, l'UCLouvain se dote en 2021 d'un nouveau projet de transformation numérique à l'horizon du 600e anniversaire de l'institution. Il contribue à la mise en place d'objectifs d’ouverture (Open Science, Open Education, dynamique internationale via Circle U.) et d' innovation (transformation de l’environnement pédagogique). Prolongeant l’expérience numérique développée ces dernières années, ce projet (document PDF, sous licence CC-BY) vise à en pérenniser les résultats, en matière d'Open Education, d'Open Sience et de formation à distance.

A repository of open educational resources generated throughout the European Personal Branding for Employment Project, such us documents, presentations, videos, podcast and assessments for everyone who needs open educational resources on personal branding and job hunting 4.0.

The European Personal Branding for Employment (EPBE) project main aim was to encourage employment among young students through the acquisition of digital skills using innovative and learner-centred pedagogical approaches and enhancing digital integration in learning, teaching, training and youth work at various levels: promoting access to and learning through Open Educational Resources (OER) in order to build up an on-line personal brand and using effectively job hunting 4.0 techniques.

Swinburne University of Technology's free Autism MOOC takes a practical approach to the study of autism. The course is designed for parents and carers of people with autism and those who work with people with autism.

It seeks to equip students with the skills and knowledge to solve practical issues in the lives of individuals who have autism. The course uses real scenarios, draws on students’ experiences and aims to foster a supportive network of parents and carers.

Grace Javier Alfonso, Ph.D, Professor Emeritus University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) lectures on 'Teaching, Learning, Research and Extension Through ICT in the Digital Era'. She advocates Open, Distance e-Learning (ODeL), Learner-centered education, continuing professional development, lifelong learning and the sharing of open resources. Her lecture investigates OER and MOOCs and their significance for the Philippines.

The v-UPGRATeS project aims to introduce a comprehensive program for the improvement of VET trainers and teachers’ digital skills through an ICT According to the TALIS 2013 (Teaching and Learning International Survey, OCED) there is a tremendous need for teachers to improve their knowledge and their skills in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The interactive platform of the v-UPGRATeS team is one step in this direction.
V-UPGRATeS stands for the Erasmus+ funded project Validating and Upgrading VET Trainers' and Teachers' Digital Skills. The project consortium, consisting of experts from five countries (Cyprus, Romania, Spain, Greece and Germany) developed a platform, with which teachers can
- test their current knowledge (step 1)
- improve their skills by v-UPGRATES online-courses (step 2)
- check their increase of knowledge with practial tasks (step 3).
Teachers upgrade their digital skills (e.g. internet security; interactive teaching technologies, website publishing and editing etc.) in an autonomous process. Each participant gets a certificate at the end.
