To download and access the icons, click on view resource.
This will open the resource in a new google drive tab.
In the top right corner there should be a download button.
The folder will download as a ZIP file.
Once the ZIP file is downloaded, double click on it to open it, and it will create a new folder with all the icons!
The icons are PNG files, which means they have a transparent background, so they can easily be placed on top of other materials.

Students will review food vocabulary through a matching game. Students will also practice formulating sentences using a variety of verbs.

Students will have a “Meet and Greet” party where they will pretend to be the person on their card, such as Heidi Klum. They will introduce themselves and greet other people, taking into account the times of day and their feelings review the different greetings

Students will receive business cards listing an address, profession and phone number. Based on the cards, students will practice asking each other questions to determine each other's information.

First, students will view a slide with works from German artists.  They are going to describe the art with old and new adjectives.  There is a clue about art in the warm-up word slide, Deutsche Adjektive. (it is written in the colors of the rainbow and then the three primary colors). Then students put these new and old adjectives to use as they digitally search museums in Berlin, hunting for art that depicts certain adjectives.  Finally, in the end students share about other types of German art they enjoy - music, architecture, design, etc.

Students will work within a budget to find pieces of furniture to decorate their dorm room. Die Schüler werden innerhalb eines Budgets arbeiten, um Möbelstücke zu finden, um ihr Wohnheimzimmer zu dekorieren.  Students will practice describing furniture and using terms related to money.  Die Schüler üben die Beschreibung von Möbeln und die Verwendung von Begriffen, die mit Geld zu tun haben.

In this activity, students will practice shopping using a list to purchase a variety of household items. Half of the students will receive a shopping list and the other half will be a store-front. The students will ask each other questions to find items on their list.
